Have Swelling On Lips, Tongue, Fingers Due To Angioneurotic Edema. Using Vwash And Surfaz Itchy And Swollen Vagina
Hi.. i m25 yrs old. i recently discovered that the swelling on lips, tongue, fingers and toes that i have been getting past 7 yrs is due to angioneurotic edema... (a friend of mine who is a doctor, told me when i showed him the photo of my facial swelling)
every time i got the attack n i went to a doctor got the tests done... the reports always used to be normal... recently i have been getting swelling in my vagina accompanied by severe itching... i told my gyneac about the itching on which she adviced me to use "Vwash and apply a cream surfaz sn.... " but i get regular attacks of edema... please help me....

Hi angioedema is mainly due to allergic reaction to food allergens.dyes and drugs.sometimes it is heriditary which is called as heriditary angioneuritic edema.first evaluate what is the cause of angioneuritic edema and whether it is associated with urticaria or not.use atarax 25 mg at night.alaspan in the morning and short course of steriods can cure it

The correct term is Angioedema, the diagnosis should be perfect, with no mistake, the classification is matter in case of angioedema, for acute attack steroid is the only treatment along with the life saving drugs, because the angioedema attack becomes so severe some time that may be life threatening, take care, bye
