Have Swelling, Soreness And Pain Between The Lip And Gums. No Medication Till Now. What To Do?
I have been getting very painful canker sores in lower of mouth between lip and gum so big causing my face and lip on that side to be very swallon. I get to the point cant eat I literally poor salt straight on it, that is very painful but effective I think. What can I do . I'm 46 and have been going through this in the last 6 months
Hello, The sores may be caused due to intake of large amount of spicy,sour foods. Maintain oral hygiene well. Apply topical steroids on the affected area. Swish with warm saline and betadine frequently. Avoid intake of spicy,salty foods. Rinse mouth after every meals. Avoid anxiety. Take care.
Hi, Thanks for asking, First of all take bland diet and plenty of fluids. Apply Dentakind-L gel over the sores for 3=4 minutes, 4-5 times a day for a week. Take lemon water daily as it has vitamin c which will be good for healing. Use antiseptic mouthwash twice daily. Take a multivitamin capsule daily for 10 days. Wishing you recovery soon Take care
painful canker sores in the lower gum cold be due to many reasons like vitamin deficiency ,stress,drug induced,or due to viral and systemic causes.
please start with multivitamins and vitamin B complex for 15 days.Also do warm saline rinses after each meal.locally you can apply triamicilone oral paste and see the results.
It should heal soon. Avoid any kind of stress.
If it does not subside ,please visit your dentist and get it evaluated clinically.
