Have Swollen Feet And Knee. Took Benydral And Applied Hydrocrotizone. Suggest

Yes my granddaughter has a swollen feet and legs up to mid knee area. I think she may have steped into an ant bed but I'm really not sure. I gave her a 1/2 teaspoon of benydral and hydrocrotizone ointment but the benydral just seems to make her really sleepy. Is there anything else I can do to help with the itching and pain?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swollen feet and knee are likely to be due to an inflammation in the area or a systemic cause like cardiac or renal cause. Applying hydrocortisone ointment on the area will not help.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
