Have Swollen Legs, Ankles, Developed Edema And Gained Weight. Have Been Taking Hydralazine. What Can Be Done For This?

After taking 200 mg of Hydralazine BID for about 3 years, I developed significant edema from the waist down. I put on 25-30 lbs n 3 months, my stomach is bloated and my legs and ankles are swollen. My cardiologist has reduced the dosage by 200 mg a day. This was done one week ago. My BP remains under control with the addition of Edarbi. I am wondering how long it will take or the edema to subside and how quickly I can be tot ally weaned from the Hydralazide.
