im concerned my brother has something serious wrong with his throat. his tonsils are swollen and have black and white stuff on them. they have been like this for a couple of days now. ive tried just googling it but all sorts of things come up and i just want us to both have peace of mind or get the right medical assistance. thank you for your time.
Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. It looks like septic tonsillitis. Gargling with listerine solution 2-3 times daily. Give Amoxicillin + clavulanate 2 times daily for 5 days emperically. You may get the throat swab for culture and sensitivity and give appropriate antibiotic with the advice of your doctor.
