Have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Taking Prednisolone. Is Homeopathy A Better Option?
Hi, I have SLE since 4 years and I have been taking predinosolone 2.5 mg + 30 black seeds per day. I was feeling very comfort. Due to growing side effects of steriods I have started using HomeoPathy medicine from last 3 weeks. But my Homeo doctor told me to stop taking black seeds. So i am taking only predisolone 2.5 mg + homeo medicines. With this I am feeling very tired. my question can I continue using black seeds along with homeo medicines? THanks MAS
** 1. as it is an autoimmune disease thus holistic approach will help in reducing the symptoms. 2. because black seed (nigella sativa) are antioxidant, antibacterial, anti fungal, insecticidal, anti tumor and cytotoxic, thus plays an important role in minimizing the symptoms associated with SLE. you should consult with a rheumatologist for a definitive medical advice. 3. omega 3 and Vit. D also show promise in reducing SLE symptoms.
