Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your mother's problem. It is true that long standing oral ulcers can turn into cancer but in the oral cavity there are many types of ulcers and only some turn into cancer. The best way is to monitor the lesion and visit the doctor regularly. If the doctor feels that the ulcer is growing in size, he will carry out a biopsy to rule out cancer.
Some ulcers do respond to multi-vitamins and there is no harm in giving these to her for a month or so.

Hoping for the best.

Hello, the ulcer as you described are in both cheeks of your mother, how much old they are and what type of secretions are coming out from them if they are not blood stained and clear straw fluid then you can have surgical intervention by ENT surgeon and the mucousal lining in ulcers can be removed and that can be examined by pathologist and fear for possibilities of Cancer can be overcome by you and your family. you can also go for mouth hygiene by washing mouth twice a day, morning and evening by astringent diluted in water and using B-complex and multivitamins along with Vitamin A supplements , The ulcers will respond definately

Hello
welcome to health care magic
Ulcers in the mouth has many causes most commonly because of stress,,or because of self bite..
but the ulcers caused by these are not cancerous and they will heal in due time..

Some times ulcers also come because of beetle nut /pan chewing in the mouth or by placing in the innerside of jaw...
these ulcers in due course of time may become cancerous..

If your mother had not habits like this,,then don't worry about the ulcer..
Take multivitamins as prescribed by your doctor.

If the ulcer is growing, then you need to take a biopsy..
hope you understand my suggestion
Thank you
