Have Ultrasound Report. Can Any Online Doctor Help In Reading It?

Male, 67 Yrs. In Ultrasound findings in Kidneys are Normal in size. B/L Renal cortical echoes are increased. B/L pelvicalyceal systems are not dilated. Cortico medullary differentiations are maintained. No calculus/mass lesion . What does it mean? Is it neccesary to know Bio-chemical corelation by Serum tests to know about exact renal problem. What tests should to do?

Yes,you need biochemical corelation to confirm renal problem.
Increased cortical echogenesity suggests renal parenchymal disease.
It should be confirmed by clinically and renal functions tests.
RFT includes serum urea,Creatinine,GFR,BUN etc.
Treatment depends accordingly.
