Having Cramps In Whole Body, Unable To Sleep When Trying To Quit Spasmo Proxyvon. What To Do?
my husband is quitting spasmo proxyvon instantly... his condition is not very gud... he is having cramps in whole body frm past two days and hes not able to sleep ... what shud i do.. wht to give him to eat or drink.. how to give him comfort...plz help

Spasmo proxyvon contains a drug called propoxyphene which can have a dependence effect. THE abrupt withdrawal of this drug can cause
INABILITY TO SLEEP, MUSCLE CRAMPS, ABDOMINAL CRAMPS,WEAKNESS,VOMITING ( WITHDRAWAL SYNDROME)
TO prevent this you have or to avoid any flaring up of symptoms , you have to taper the the dose of propoxyphene .The dose reduction schedule will be given by your physician.
