Having Diarrhea Due To IBS And Food Allergies. Gall Bladder Not Functioning Leading To Abdominal Pain. How To Treat?
I saw a bowel specialist who diagnosed my diarrehia as ibs and food allergies. I have lived with Diarrehia for the past 8 years. In the spring I went to emerge with huge abdominal pain. Although the ct scan and ultra sound that followed showed nothing I asked for a hida scan since my sister went through the same thing. The end result was that I have no function in my gall bladder. I am having an upper gi to check my duodenum ??? why do they need to do this.. Why not just go ahead and book the surgery. What does the duodenum have to do with a non functioning gall bladder?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The duodinum is in close position to the gall bladder, so it is to be learnt that is there any relation between these two, then only the surgeon can come to a conclusion what parts are to be repaired.in case the opening of the bladder is closed in the duodinum, a minor manipulation may be sufficient. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and Protein rich foods to keep the bowels healthy. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
