Having Dull Ache In The Chest. Received Breathing Treatments. Help?
Hi, I have been having chest/lung pain for the past two days. my lungs feel as though they are being squeezed when I exhale and my Chest as a throbbing dull ache. I have no coughing or other symptoms, just the pain and tightness in my chest. It kind of just popped up out of no where and started. I went to the ER, but all my test results came back clear and there was no signs of cardiac issues and my lungs looked normal, I also recieved breathing treatments which did not help. However the pain still has not gone away.
If the doctor did all the necessary test to rule out all cardiac and lung conditions that maybe the onset of your symptom, then it would have been wise to look at your GIT/gut as you might be suffering from a peptic ulcer diseases/GERD. If that is the case you might need specific medications for that such as omeprazole, ranitidine etc. Since the pain is present constantly and from your description it hardly sounds like you are suffering from angina pectoris, so that is clinically ruled out. Maybe you will have to go back to the hospital so doctor can try to rule out peptic ulcer diseases and maybe determine if you might be suffering from some form of anxiety related aches.
Hope this helps
