Hi
As you are suffering from pain since 2 years,it is better to undergo surgery.
You didn't mention whether you are having gallbladder stones or not?
If you are having gall stones,go for surgery .
If there are no stones, then the pain will be relieved by Antibiotics,Anti inflammatory drug and smooth muscle relaxant like Dicyclomine.
Wish you speedy recovery
Regards
You should definitely go back to your doctor or to ER as you may have an abscess in the gallbladder. It happens when gallbladder inflammation lasts for some time and does not get healed. The other possibility is bile ducts obstruction or even pancreas duct obstruction what can lead to acute pancreatitis.
You should have blood work, CRP, liver tests (AST,ALT,GGTP,AP), amylase, urine amylase, bilirubin checked and have abdominal ultrasound. You may need emergency surgery.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
