Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. First off I need to know if you are male or female. In either case with the available history or information you have provided it would be best to consult a doctor who can take a complete history, look into the available records of surgeries, do a physical examination, order labwork and get imaging studies done so as to know for sure if you are fertile. There may be ways around it if it turns out that you may not be able to have kids. Please do not despair, consult a doctor as soon as you can.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!

Hi and thank you so much for this query. i am so sorry to hear of what you suffered of in your childhood and the possible consequences relating to having kids now.

I don't know what your parents told you. if you could be more explicit on this, then we can provide a more specific answer to this. However, it was then. It will not hurt seeing a doctor now who will give an up to date suggestion based on your past history and the present findings. At worse, it may not make any big change but it can not cause any further damage.

Beside, medicine has advanced over the years. What seemed impossible yesterday is almost a routine today. There may be novel advances that may provide solutions to your problem. My suggestion is that you get consulted to get an up to date conclusion and recommendation about getting kids.

I hope you find this helpful and provides useful information on how to approach this very disturbing though to any one who really wishes to have kid. I hope you get to find a way out of this. I wish you good health.
