Having Noticed A Swelling In Knuckles S & Bruise

My knuckle (index finger & thumb) are bruised swollen & warm to the touch along with my knee cap and wrist bone. All of this has happened suddenly and without trauma to these areas. The knuckle happened when I barely knocked it grabbing a handle. I also have popped blood vessels on the palms of my hands.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a local inflammation.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. An MRI scan might be required for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
