i woke up feeling my face itching and it was pinky red swollen around the eyes a tight and hot and itchy feeling on the whole face. it`s the 2nd time in 5 months. i don`t take any medications nor have any medical conditions. the only unusual thing was, yesterday the ac got broken and the house went to 90 degrees and at the end of the day i swept the floor,.
I have gone through your query and can understand..
As per your complain it seems like an allergic reaction to some known or unknown allergen leading to swelling over the face and eyes and redness and itching.. It is causing you allergic angioedema and as it had caused twice in 5 months it is due to exposure to allergen and as soon as you get exposed the reaction is initiated.. As of now you can take antiallergics like Benadryl or levocetrizine and do cool compresses over the face.. You can consult an Allergist and get allergic testing done so that the exact cause of allergy is ruled out.. Preventing exposure and getting Immunotherapy can help in preventing allergy attacks..
Hope this information helps..
