Having Noticed Left Sided Chest Pains

I'm having left-sided chest pains aggravated by bending over to pick up things, the pain is slightly below and to the left of my left nipple. It's of a mild nature right now, but I;m scared it might worsen with time. I have a hypertensive mother. I am a medical student so, I'm really worried.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I have read the query and considering the fact that it is aggravated on bending down it is most likely due to musculoskeletal spasm caused by sudden exercise, lifting heavy weights, fatigue.Absence of symptoms like breathlessness, radiation of pain, burning sensation in relation to food decrease the likelihood of other causes for your chest pain.

Nevertheless, you are a medical student and having a family history of hypertension there is no harm in consulting a physician and getting an ECG done to rule out any cardiac abnormality.

Sometimes even anxiety leads to such symptoms,so dont worry, take adequate rest with application of pain relief sprays like volini spray with a muscle relaxant like tab.myospaz forte once at bedtime will relieve the symptoms.

Hope this answers the query.

Regards,
Dr.Tushar Tamboli.
