Having Numbness And Tingling Under Shoulder Blade. Growing Bald Patch. Is This Connected?
hello - I have a numbness and tingling just under my right shoulder blade - it comes and goes. Had it for about a month now. I also have a growing bald patch on the back of my head - just above the hairline, about 2 inches across. my wife thinks I am loosing the hair off my back as well. No idea if this is all connected!
Hi, It seems that you are having alopecia areata. It is an autoimmune disorder. It is not related with dysaesthesia occuring under right shoulder blade. Local irritant like psoralen lotion ,dithranol or minoxidil solution would be helpful. Intradermal steroid may be taken . Immunomodulator like levamisole should be taken. Consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment. Numbness and tingling sensatios, i.e. dysaesthesia would be the seperate entity. There may be neurologic or psychologic cause...ok
