Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently was in a motorcycle accident and broke the IP joint on my thumb... the thumb has been healing well and the bruising is gone and range of motion is at 80% However swelling has now started to occur in the MP joint below rather badly nearly twice the size as the other side I did accidentally whack it off something the other day... but it didnt seem to be anything that would cause this
Do you think its related and what steps should i take other than icing it (as i have been)?
