Having Tickling All Over Body, Itching, Occurs While Going To Bed. Could This Be Caused By Nerves Or Dry Skin?

Why when I go to bed at night I feel these little tickles all over me which causes me to want to scratch. There are no bugs in my bed. For years now I try for an hour or so to fall asleep, but I itch here and I itch there and I scratch here and scratch everywhere! Could it be nerves, could it be dry skin? What is it, it drives me crazy!

Thanks for visiting HCM,

As you said the itching and tingling may be due to,
dry skin
Diabetic
high serum bilirubin or
may be functional in elderly.

Hence you have to undergo lab investigations like bd sugar ,sr bilirubin and accordingly treatment follows.
