Having Tingling Sensation In Urethra. Passing Less Urine. Noticed Dark Urine. Help?

Hello sir, I have a problem that started a week ago. initially i had a tingling sensation in my urethra, then i had the urge to urinate often, but when i passed urine, the volume was less. Now, the colour of the urine is quite dark and it is slightly foul smelling. Since 2 days, i have a burning sensation while passing urine. I take sufficient amount of water but this problem wouldn't go away. Can you please help me with this?

I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect you may have urinary tract infection.
Because you have foul smelled urine in addition to dark and painful urination.
And also it is acute.

I suggest you to do some investigations like urinalysis initially. Following this do urine culture for organism and sensitivity for antibiotics.

After this consult with your treating doctor for appropriate antibiotic treatment and follow up.
