Having Tonsillitis, Why Do I Have Mouth Ulcer Like Stuffs Present Near My Tonsils?

Hi, I had tonsilitis last last week. But there still some mouth-ulcer like stuffss present near my tonsils.
It looks puffy, and it has holes similir to mouth ulcers. It doesnt hurt. But im getting worried alreasdy since its been roughly 2 weeks already.

I have gone through your query regarding tonsillitis and ulcerations in oral cavity and oropharynx.

By your symptoms and clinical history it appears as you are having follicular tonsillitis, therefore tonsils are looking like as bulge having holes and white paches of pus and slough in between.

It will be better to consult your ENT doctor for treatment otherwise there may develop cmplications as well. Till you are waiting for specialist you may take-

1- Tab Paracetamol.

2- Warm saline gargling.

3- Adequate fluid orally.

4- Antibiotics- This should be taken with concent of your doctor and accrding to culture & sensitivity and Gram's staining of throat swab.
