Having Vaginal Discharge With Clots, Smell. Prescribed Metrogyl. Contains Aspirin?

Hi, My name is Setshwano, i had abnormal viginal discharge , creamy with clots, at times smelly. went to see the doctor and was given metrogyl . this was not the first time the doctor gave it to me. what i have noticed is every time i take the tablets my ulcers start, i have ulcers also i loose apetite and vomit . there is one doctor who adviced me not to take anything with asprin becuase of my ulcers. my question is, is there any asprin in this tablet?

Hello,

There is no aspirin in this tablet, but this tablet itself can cause gastric mucosal irritation and lead to ulcer.So ideally it should be taken with antacid medications, which can prevent this side effect.
