Head Twitch, Squinting, Hard Blinking, Legs Move Constantly By Itself. Why Am I Doing These Thing?
I can't stay still most of the time. When I was in 4th or 5th grade I had a head twitch that I couldn't really control. I could stop it but i would feel an urge that made me have to do it. It was a weird un describable feeling. To try and control it i started squinting and doing like a hard blinking to try and stop squinting my eyes. In middle school I started squinting my nose and and I still do it. I still twitch my head but I try and control it around my family to prevent being yelled at forint starting up again. I kind of prevent it by rolling my neck to the left back and then to the right and then I roll my shoulders back. My legs are constantly moving mainly when I'm at school or sitting down. I get yelled at a lot by my friends because it irritates them. My fingers constantly are tapping on something. They move almost as if I were playing piano if I'm not using them to write or if they're both occupied. I don't like aggravating the people around me and when I try to tell people I can't really control them or that I don't realize I'm doing these things half the time they don't believe me. I'm in the 10th grade and I'm curious as to why I'm constantly fidgeting and doing these things. Please can someone tell me why I do these things?
Hi, Based on the details there are two possibilities ,one is motor seizure ( fits without loss of consciousness), other is chorea (involuntary movement disoder)
Hence it has to be confirmed by clinical examination and supported by investigation ( CT scan brain ,EEG, ASO titre, Slit lamp examination)
