Hi and thank you so much for this query. The truth about primary headaches is that controlling provoking and aggravating factors is the main stay of treatment. We rarely identify an organic cause that can address the problem instantly once and for all. I amm so sorry to hear about the side effects you have had with indocid. If this is the only drug that relieves you of your headaches, then abandoning can for real be very difficult. I will advice that you consider associating it with other drugs like omeprazole, ranitidine, etc that can protect the stomach and permit you to continue this drug that apparently works like magic for you. Also, try reducing the daily intake hoping that you may be able to control your symptoms with fewer tablets as this would result in lesser complications likelihood.
