Headache, Feeling Queasy. Had A Fall, Got Hit Hard. Anything To Worry?
I fell backward onto the cement garage floor. I was pulling the lawnmower up over the stairs and lost my balance. I hit pretty hard. Now I have a headache and feel queasy - it is hot and I have been fighting a cold - so I could just by paranoid. I am 57, a woman, average size and health. Is there anything I need to watch for?
Thank you for posting your query. Your symptoms suggest a minor head injury with mild concussion. So, there is no need to worry at present.
Please watch for severe headache, vomiting, blurred vision, double vision, decrease in consciousness, etc. If you develop any of these, you should see a doctor and get a CT scan of the brain done.
