Headaches, Mood Swings, Increased Appetite, Discharge From Breasts, Spotting. Pregnant?
I have all the symptoms of pregnancy heightened senses, headaches daily, extreme mood swings, eating way more than used to frequent urination, even my breasts are leaking what seems to be milk for a couple weeks now but tests come out negative I am lightly spotting and just started feeling nauseous this morning could I still be pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Just by symptoms we cannot come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy. Because the symptoms you mentioned could be seen in other conditions like premenstrual syndrome. Usually milk won't leak in early pregnancy unless there is some hormonal imbalance. So, better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. Go for ultrasound, which will rule out the possibility of pregnancy and also can help in finding out the cause for spotting. With your doctor's advice go for thyroid profile and prolactin levels estimation. Possibly by this workup the cause for your problem can be identified and treated. If the pregnancy is ruled out, in the next cycle you can track the ovulation and can plan intercourse around that period. This will increase the possibility of pregnancy. Take care.
