Headaches With Fever & Fatigue. Prescribed Doloact Potassium, Levobact And Tegretol. All Tests Negative. Awaiting Scan
halo Dr.keerthi,Iam kelly,female 28years 5.4ft 62kgs.Av had severe headaches with fever, fatigue loss of appetite for the past one month.I did sugar test,pressure,urine stool,typhoid,amoeba,blood test,pregnancy test ,all turned negative.Was given Doloact potassium,tablets,levobact,and tegretol dose to be taken for two weeks if the headache doesn't stop i go for scanning.its eleven days after the medication and am starting to feel fever again..what might it be

I would come up with these possibilities for these symptoms as you mentioned in your query, these includes.
1 Hepatitis , as you are having , loss of appetite, fatigue, headache, fever . All these symptoms may be due to hepatitis. Diagnosis can be confirmed by HBASG examination for A B C E .
2 Tuberculosis as all these symptoms are indication of tuberculosis , diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest and sputum examination with Montox test.
3 Meningitis , diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of cerebrospinal fluid.
( C S F ) .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination , clinical examination & history of illness is very important in such type of long fever cases.
