Dear sir

It is of concern when some body looses too much weight and muscle. That too statins causes muscle pain and myolysis. If your complaints started after that initiation of statins then it might be due to statins in most 8f the cases

One simple thing, reducing the dosage or stoppage of the drugs will cause symptoms to subside.. there are so many alternative drugs available to correct cholesterols such as inositol, eztibimide ect

So dont worry you can select any one of these after consulting your doctor
