General & Family Physician, Dr. Ramakant's Response
Dear customer,
The heart attack is caused by diminished blood supply to the heart and once you are managed with acute management then you should have the coronary angiography done as suggested by the doctor.
The angiography will help you in finding the exact location of the blockage and if necessary then angioplasty or bypass graft will be advised to you.Though in some cases if the blockage is not severe then it can be managed by medical treatment alone without any active intervention.
Thank you
