Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It is an effective medicine and is in vogue since many years.
Of course all medicines have side effects / need to be under medical supervision
You have not stated your personal habits, family history or co-morbidities, even age, gender...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome...
There are always alternatives - – Electro Physiological Studies (EPS) and ablation, which could be done during EPS.
Discuss with your doctor

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
