Heavy Bleeding During Periods. Taken Alka Sseltzer Plus Cold Tablet. Reason For Heavy Bleeding?
My period came on on Tuesday, today is Sunday & period seemed to be going off. I had on a panty liner & all of a sudden I felt a flow of blood. When I went to check myself there was a large clot of blood. Previously I had taken 2 alka-seltzer plus cold tablets. Could this be the reason for the heavy bleeding all of a sudden?

The heavy bleeding isnt due to the cold tablets. It could be accumulated blood which may have come out due to any sudden increased intra-abdominal pressure.
If the bleeding is still heavy, you can take tranexemic tablets to control the bleed.
