Heavy Sensation On Back Of Head, Dizziness. Reason? How To Remove Them?

I am 47 year old female
. One night I turned my head left whilst laid on my back and felt a heavy sensation at back of my head and went so dizzy. So I tried to get out if bed straight away and had the same horrible feeling. My husband had o pull me out if bed. I avoided doing the same reaction then 3 night later I thought I would try laying on my left side, then when I tried getting up from my left had the same feeling again. Ok from my right and it's only while laying down

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having some degenerative changes in your cervical and neck vartebrae giving rise to irritation or pressure on nerves giving rise to stiffness and vertigo.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Physiotherapy will be helpful.
Do not keep pillow on back of neck or do not raise your neck or do sudden change the position of your neck while lying down.
Ok and take care.
I find this answer helpful
