I m a 27 years old female, 125 pounds, smoker, and drink every other day sometimes even more. About 6 months ago I coughed a mucous ball of blood, very thick. for 3 or so days I had random small amounts of blood. then it went away. about a month ago I started experiencing numb toes at times or numb fingers. last week my right arm went tingly numb for almost 2 days.. like my circulation was messed up. I ve had random sharp pains in my chest and back. today I am nauseous, and through up 2 times one of witch I made myself do with the hopes of feeling better. I feel weak, always tired. I sit somewhere for no more than 2 min before my eyes are so heavy I cant keep them open. I sleep between 5 to 8 hours every night. I ve never felt tired like this. 80% of the time im rather depressed. I ve always had headache. i m always hungry feeling,.bad heart burn. lupus, cancer, and diabetes runs in my family. any ideas??? thank you

Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

In my opinion, you should consult a doctor immediately who can run some tests on you after examining you. You need to get all routine blood investigations and an X-ray of your chest done before deciding on the further management. Please do not neglect this as this could turn out to be something serious.

Best wishes.
