Can I Confirm My Second Child S Sickle Cell Status Through CDC, Given That Newborn Screening Isn T Always 100% Accurate?

Hello, my first born is a asickler and my second born was tested at birth and the results showed normal. My question is can I truck whether he is a stickler through CDC because I read some where and screening at birth was not 100% correct...with my first born on RBC IP message they used to put anisocytosis not untill she was tested positive through HB electrophoresis that s when I remembered the meaning of anisocytosis on the CBC report. So what happens or what is the comment usually put on normal babies with RBC IP message. Thanks
