Hemorrhoid Started Bleeding After Using Hydrocortisone Acetate Pramoxine HCL Cream. Should I Continue Using After Bleeding?

Last week, my GP diagnosed my first-ever hemorrhoid, and wrote a scrip for "Hydrocortisone Acetate 2.5% - Pramoxine HCL 1% Cream". I've applied it several times a day as directed. However, yesterday the hemorrhoid starting bleeding for the first time, so I stopped using the cream. I will call my GP tomorrow, but should I use the cream tonight despite the bleeding?

(I'm 62, and in good health otherwise.)

The bleeding may not be due to steroid but could be because of severity of haemorrhoids, it wont make any deference if you go applying the cream in bleeding state, the bleeding has to be stop first, have nice day.
