High Blood Pressure. Regular Blood Pressure Tests, High Diastolic Values. Cause Of Worry?
my mother in law is 71 years old. she has had several blood pressure checks that have been high. We are monitoring her every week with regular blood pressure checks. today her blood pressure is 140 over 120? Is this a problem. the top number is lower then it had been but what about the bottom number being so close to the top number?
HI
your mother lower side BP is definitely high and required treatment at earliest ,
but difference between upper and lower BP is very less and its less common so i advised to recheck BP,
take medicine in time ,
and if lower side BP remains elevated above 100 mmhg than consult cardiologist and adjust dose of BP medicine
take care
