High Blood Pressure, Shin Pain, Abnormal Abdominal Artery. Due To Sciatica Problem?
I am waiting for the dr office to return my call. I was at the chiropractor dr today. He was checking over symptoms associated with possible sciatica problem that happeded over the weekend. The chiropractor took my blood pressure reading and it was high. Instead of doing any adjustments, he referred me back to my family dr. I was at the family dr last Fri and all was well. Blood pressure was normal and I did not have sciatic problems then. Right now, I'd like to know if the spike in blood pressure could be due to sciatic condition. I did stretching exercises over the weekend to help alleviate the pain. I still have some persistent pain in my shin area. Chiropractor also listened to the abdominal artery and it sounded a bit unnormal. My arterial scan about 2 years ago was clear.
The pressure might have been a reaction to the pain. Check it on a few more occasions (can do at home / electronic machines are available in pharmacy and supermarket. Else, ambulatory monitoring will clear the doubt. If high, you will need further assessment and assistance...
The artery must be re-checked - scan, doppler should be done by vascular surgeon..
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
