Okay . So I had my son in july & I was high risk with gestational diabetes & since having my son every so often I get these tingling sensations on the top of my head but not in my face .only once have my fingers felt this way too. I thought it was just from a messed up epidural I had gotten causing this (I had to have two epidurals the first one didn t take *I had a c section ) but lately its happening a lot more and I m starting to zone in and out when uttering happens.what could this be..?????
hi, as you have not cleared the status about your sugars post delivery, we do not know whether you are diabetic now or not. the symptoms that you have described seem to be neuropathic and can be due to nutritional deficiencies specially of vitamin B12, folic acid and vitamin D. these deficiencies do get aggravated post delivery , during lactation and more of if you have gestational diabetes. pls check your vitamin B12 levels, vitamin 25 (OH) D levels and get them corrected. if the symptoms still persist you need to see a doctor.
