Thanks for posting your query here.
This is a form of gastritis. The stomach releases HCl-Hydrochloric acid which will help in the digestion of the food. The reaction of the food will result in the formation of gas. Production of gas depends on the type of food taken, timing of the meal, exercise, obesity, and finally on liver function. Food belonging to the class pulses will result in bloating. Indigestion of food may lead to fermentation and formation of gas in the stomach. Liver juices helps in the digestion of fatty foods. Any liver abnormality will affect the digestion of the food.
The main line of treatment is to reduce the acid production or neutralizing the acid already produced. Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, pantoprazole or rabiprozole will reduce the formation of acid production. A continuous therapy for 40 days will help in redusing the levels of gastric acid. Antacids like Digene, Gelusis will help in neutralizing the acid produced.
Giving sufficient gap between meals, a half-an-hour walk after every meal, diet rich in fibre will reduce the formation of gas.
Hope this helps to you.
Regards
