History Of Pleural Effusion And PTB. Have Difficulty Breathing. X-ray Shows Pleurodiaphragmatic Reaction

Hi. I Maeanne 40 yrs of age, 4'10 weighing 41kg. I had pleural effusion last year and diagnosed PTB. 6 months of medication was given by my doctor. This past days, i feel that i have difficult in breathing, i went to the doctor and advise me to have an x-ray. The result is pleurodiaphragmatic reaction most likey adhesion, left. What does it means? is this serious case? thanlk you.

What has happened is that because of your tuberculosis the pleura I.e. the outer covering of the lungs have become thickened and hence it is probabaly not allowing the lung to expand compleyely. For this an xray may not be good way of knowing what's happening inside exactly however you can get a CT scan of the chest done.
The treatment is to wait and watch and it should get better and if not then probably we need to remove it surgically
