History Of Restore Lenses Implant. Now Have Retina Detachment. Seeing White Clouds

Hi, I'm wondering if having had Restore lenses inplants about 7 years ago have anything to do with my retina detachment now. Both my husband and I had the same procedure (eye inplants) and both of us have had retina detachments. I'm recuperating from my now. My husband had his last year but yesterday he was seeing white clouds in his right eye and found out that the gel in his eye had moved a little. The Dr did some laser but he said that my husband was going to see blurry for about three more weeks. We cannot believe that both of us are going thru the same problem. We are both 59 and a half.

Dear ma'am,
The Restore lenses per se doesn't cause retinal detachment(RD). It is either you had a tendency for RD(like high myopia) prior to surgery or complication during surgery or trauma post surgery or just by chance.
Hope you both see perfect always. Take care.
