History Of Shingles. Now Numbness In Head, Swollen Lymph Node In Neck. Normal?

Hi, I got a bad case of the shingles on the right side of my head in Dec.- causing my eye to swell shut and leisions in the right side of head with numbness. My eye is good, healing well - leisions finally going away, but right side of head still numb. My major concern is hat my lymph node on my neck on right side only is still swollen, Is this normal for shingles?

Hello dear.
Thanks for the query.
Shingles involves the nerves, hence pain or numbness both are quiet common in this disease.
You are feeling numbness as the nerves are recovering now. Dont worry soon the sensation will return.
Just keep a watch on the eyes, if you feel burning or any discomfort in eye, you must meet a doctor as shingles of eye can be very dangerous.
Thank you
