Hit My Head. Had Disorientation, Laps Of Memory, Disheveled Ness, Headache, Nausea, Pain On Back, Neck Stiffness. Do I Have Concussion?

I was helping a friend build a tree house today when I stood up , hit my head on a truss, fell approx 5 feet to ground. I had several moments of disorientation, lapse of memory, and disheveled ness. Tonite I feel out of it, headache with nausea since 1400 hours.. Severe pain mid way own my back and neck stiffness... Do I have a concussion?

Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

From the nature of injury it is possible to have post concussion syndrome. Although these syndrome frequently preceded by head injury sufficient enough to cause loss of consciousness.

Some time fear of developing brain damage may lead to stress induced muscle spasm and pain. But before that it is must to rule out physical cause of problem.

It is better to meet general physician to rule out any fracture. For that you may require investigation like CT Scan of head.
