Hot Urine, diarrhea, heaviness And Pain In Lower Abdomen

Hi.. My husband and I are trying to conceive.. For the past couple of days, I have been passing hot urine (like when you run a mild fever) .. Today morning I had a bad case of diarrhea .. I sometimes feel a heaviness in my lower abdomen, with a mild dull ache at times in my lower right abdomen. No other apparent pregnancy symptoms have been experienced. I had UTI last month. Also, does sexual intercourse trigger UTI? I got my UTI 2 days after intercourse. Age: 29, Weight: 50 - 51 kilos, height : 5.2 Thanks.

Hi,

Sexual intercourse does trigger an UTI if sexual hygiene is not maintained. Also, if your husband had an active infection then, the chances of you getting it are also high.

Try taking syrup Citralka 2 tablespoons full in half a glass of water thrice daily for 2 days. Also drink plenty of fluids, especially cranberry juice. If the symptoms don’t subside in 2 days you may need a course of antibiotics.

A single episode of diarrhea is not worrisome.

Get a urine routine done to rule out UTI.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
