How I Will Use Zitptec 200 Mg ?
Hello Doctor i m 25,with 2 yrs old baby.i had c sec delivery.now i found out that i m pregnet .i wont want baby now.today morning i went to a doctor.she prescribed me mifepristone 200 mg of 2 tab and zitotec 200mg.2 tab for apply .same zitptec 200 mg for oral .but i dont understand how i will use it.a nurse told me but in prescription it was written mifepristone 200 mg of 2 tab after 24 hrs apply zitotec 200 mg 2 tab after 2 hr oraly zitotec 200 mg 2 tab repeat upt 2 weeks. what is it means. can u plz help me how i will use it. thank u..

hi welcome to health care magic.see you take 1st day T.MIFIPRISTONE 200Mg 1TAB AFTER 2 HR TAKE 2ND Tab.then at 3d day T.ZITOTEC 200 Mg one tab then after 2hr another T.Zitotec after 2 hr another T.Zitotec after 2 hr another T.Zitotec.you should take all tab after meal because its hormonal tab cause giddiness,nausea,vomiting if bleeding not stop after 10 days concern your gynec for that.you do pregnancy test further after 15 days to confirm that now you are not pregnant.

It is an abortion pack or MTP pack.
Ist of all you have to take mifepristone 200 mg after meal ,followed by another tablet after 2-3 hours.In India we give single tablet of mifepristone only.the after 24 hour we mesoprost 200mg twice a day for 2 days .Then we do usg after 5-10 days to confirm MTP /abortion is complete or not

hello there are two protocols....WHO approved i to take mifipristone 200mg on first day, some prefer 600mg dose. no medication on second day. on third day that is after 48 hours take mesoprost 400microgm either orally or vaginally. See there are different protocols followed in different places but the main thing is there should be 48 hours gap between mifipristone and mesoprost.your doc must have asked you to take mifipristone on day 1 and mesoprost on day3, one dose orally and one dose vaginally.
