Lupus it is a life long disorder man. What it needs is medical support rather than cure. So be along with regular follow ups with your doctor. Join support groups. That should be fine I guess.
Dear sir/madam, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus is an autoimmune disorder ( where the body's defence mechanism attacks its own cells). Its an incurable disease but can be very well controlled with drugs. If you meet a rheumatologist well in advance ,i.e before the disease causes any major organ damage (eg.Kidney) you have a great chance of doing well with the disease. If you have still not met a rheumatologist please do so immediately. If you are in India you can visit centers like SGPGI , Lucknow,C.M.C vellore, N.I.M.S Hyderabad......These centers have doctors with good experience in dealing with lupus like diseases. Early and effective treatment is the key to success in LUPUS.Hope you find my answer useful. Take care.
