How Can severe Eye Pain Be Treated?

Hi, my left eye hurts especially near the lateral commissure whenever I close my eyes tightly or when I blink too hard. I m not sure where is the pain exactly at but the end of my eye is just so painful it s the sharp edge of the left eye. Is this a big problem? What can I do to stop the pain. It has been here for 3 days. Thanks!
