How Can I Address Erectile Dysfunction, Urinary Issues, And Erection Pattern Changes Post Excessive Masturbation?

Hello sir, I had a problem of excessive masturbation since 2017. I encountered ed at around end of 2019 and have not recovered still. I would masturbate at least twice daily and unknowingly when i slept on my stomqcb at night i had habbit of rubbing left side of penis on the bed in my sleep. I have had problem holding my urine for sometime. THis year i reduced masturbation to only around 4 times a month. But so i ejaculate within seconds now when i touch myself. I went to 2 urologists who on physical diagnosis said i had normal genetelia. Now i get errection only on sitting or lying down on my sides but it is felt mostly on the side i used to rub and i lose this errection also on standing up and i get none while standing. Please advise sir. I have become suicidal because of my impotency.

Hello,

Make changes in your habits, take care of your hygiene. Connected with a urologist. If obese, lose weight, you need to maintain a healthy weight. Do regular walking and exercises. Get a complete medical check-up for early treatment. Your treating urologist will help you with pelvic floor exercises to strengthen them if they are weak, pause-squeeze technique will help to delay ejaculation and maintain erection.

You will be given a combination treatment with medicines, exercises, therapy and if required surgery to help you get better. In the meantime, switch to healthy lifestyle. Eat healthy, live healthy and think healthy. Avoid watching pornography, avoid use of sex toys. Visually induced libido reduces your performance at sex. Abstain from anything that triggers your sex appeal visually without a partner.

Take home cooked food, high in protein and minerals. Don't worry. Have patience even if it takes time. You may be referred to a neurologist if any nerve problem is diagnosed. If diabetic, control your blood sugar level at all cost.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
