How Can I Advance My Period After Consuming Jasmin?

Dear Dr. Manjunath, I m at the day of 12th of taking Jasmin and I know that I will have my period 7 days after finishing the last one , in 9 days. I need to advance my period for 5-6 days due to my vacation. I would appreciate it if you could help my with it. Best regards Neda Jonson

If you want to extend your period for next 15 days or so, you need to continue the tablets for next 12 days at least, or may be for 15 days till you do not want the menses to appear.

Jasmin tablets are Oestrogen + Progesterone tablets. These hormones grow and maintain the lining of the uterus (Endometrium). When the tablets are discontinued, the levels of the hormones start falling down and thus the grown endometrium cannot be supported. It then starts breaking down and is thrown out along with some blood after about 4-6 days. This is menstruation.

Now you can plan when to discontinue the tablets. Continue taking the hormone tablets as per your requirement.
