How Can I Alleviate Pressure And Pain From Internal Hemorrhoids Despite Previous Various Treatments?

I have been fighting internal hemmoroids for about a month. I take Rutin normally and use Prep H suppositories and it clears up. They are causing a tremendous amount of pressure and pain as the day goes on and seems to affect my nerves all around that area as it gets worse. I have done sitz baths, tucks, prep H, Garlic... Everything i know how to. It will take months to get into a GI. Not sure what to do. It s just not getting better and it is miserable. It s just mainly the pressure that is bad. No blood in stool, no constipation, they prolapse after bowel movement quite a bit but go back in eventually. Suggestions?

Hi,

Based on the symptoms you are having hemorrhoids which are of grade 2. Usually, change of diet to high fiber diet and taking plenty of fluids should stop the progression of disease to next grade 3 where in you have to digitally push back hemorrhoidal mass in to rectum and grade 4 where in hemorrhoidal mass comes out and causes decrease blood supply to mass resulting in severe pain.

These 2 conditions need surgery. We can manage your condition conservatively and symptoms doesn't improve you may need surgery too. Take tab Dobesil and syrup lactulose at bed time, regular sitz bath, high fiber diet, avoid nonveg and spicy food. Consult a surgeon if symptoms doesn't improve and plan for a surgery.
